Family Tree

A while back one of the blogs I read, The Rubber Punkin, posted a family tree that she made out of ruffles. She whipped it together for a contest being held over at Ruffles and Stuff.

 

When I saw it I feel in love and I just had to have one for myself. I again ventured out to Joanne's and bought three different green fabrics, green felt, blue fabric for the background, and some brown flannel. I also found the perfect frame in their "oops" bin.  It was in perfect condition, the right size, and super cheap.  It took me most of the afternoon to put it together and it turned out pretty well:~)
