This weeks theme is Outtake & Bloopers.
Over the lovely long weekend My hubby and I went 4-wheeling/camping with a friend. While sitting around the campfire I decided to play around with my camera a bit. I set my camera on a log and took some long exposure photos of the campfire. During one of the shots I bumped my camera by accident and this is what I got.....
Not quite what I was going for...but kinda neat non the less. Here are a few that actually turned out.
The challenge for the week over at Mama and the Dudes is WOOPS! Everyone has those accidental shots stored away somewhere and now is the chance to use them for something.
This is actually one of my all time favorite photos. I was outside goofing around with the dogs and just snapping away. Tucker got in the way of one of my shots and this is how it turned out:~)
Here are a few more....
I didn't realize until after I took this picture that my camera was
focusing on the fence and not the chickens. Thankfully I did realize
what was happening and corrected it, but I do kinda like the way this
one turned out.
This is another whale photo. Well I guess its more of an after the
whale photo. On another trip with my family we got to see humpbacks in
Valdez, AK. I wasn't quick enough with the camera and only managed to
catch the effect of the tail splash.

Challenge: TREES
My entry.....
These trees were victims of a forest fire. I took this photo about 2 summers ago while 4-wheeling in White Mountain Recreation Park in Alaska.
Here are a few more tree pictures:~)
Tuesday's are for Shutter Love over at Trendy Tree house. Today's theme is sports. These days I don't really follow or play sports. But there was a day way back when horses were my life and Yes, riding is a sport. So I thought that today would be a good day to travel back through my pictures and see what I could dig up. Here's what I found. The first few are of my sister and I.
I would love to pretend that these next one's are of me or my lovely sister, but they aren't. I took these a few years back when my mother, sister, and I traveled to Kentucky for the Rolex. Many of these competitor's had participated in the Olympics. One of them, David O'connor, won the first Equestrian Gold Medal for the US since 1984. So it was a pretty exciting competition to watch.
Thanks to my wonderful hubby I now have a photo gallery of my very own:~) I have a place to share all of my favorite photos with everyone. They are all available in high resolution at my gallery here. You can also access my photos using the link in my navigation bar. All of these photos are available royalty free for non commercial use.
